To validate the tickets, download the Ticket Validator mobile app—available on both App Store and Google Play. To create more than 10 tickets, you can purchase ticket credits from the account dashboard.
For what type of events can I generate tickets using Ticket Generator?
Ticket Generator can be used for any event with guests ranging between 20 and 10,000. Such events can include workshops, seminars, conferences, business events, parties, weddings, trainings, meet-ups, exhibitions, concerts, and academic events. With Ticket Generator, you can create custom ticket categories as per requirement. Set and collect different prices for each ticket category.
I am not a graphic designer. Can I create custom-designed tickets?
With Ticket Generator, you have the option to upload your ticket design—created using Canva, Adobe Spark, or any other design tool. Or you can use Ticket Generator's standard ticket design, simply add event information (event name, description, timings, T&C, etc.), ticket information (guest name, hall number, seat number, etc.), and branding (brand logo and brand color/image). Professional design skills aren’t required.
How do I get the tickets?
There are three ways to get tickets using Ticket Generator. First, you can download the tickets as PDF or image files and get them printed at home or via professional printing services. You can also directly send the digital tickets to guests via email, SMS, or WhatsApp. Lastly, you can programmatically generate the tickets via API from your own information system or mobile app.
Can I send tickets via WhatsApp?
Yes. Once you have created a ticket for your event, you can print and distribute it or share it directly with guests. You can share it via email, SMS, and WhatsApp.
Do I need to take consent from the end-user to send ticket via Whatsapp?
Yes. When sending a ticket via WhatsApp, you need to confirm that you have taken consent from the guest whose phone number the ticket is being sent to.
What details can be mentioned on a ticket?
If you are uploading your own ticket design, we recommend that the ticket should have standard event details—event name, description, venue, location, and terms (if any). When this design is uploaded, we will allow you to add a unique QR Code, unique ticket code, and unique ticket information (such as guest name, hall number, seat number, etc.). If you are using Ticket Generator's standard design, then you will need to add event information (event name, description, timings, and terms & conditions), ticket information (guest name, hall number, seat number, etc.), and branding (brand logo, and brand color/image). QR Code and ticket code will automatically be added.
Each ticket generated using Ticket Generator has a one-time scannable QR Code. This QR Code can only be scanned and validated using the Ticket Validator mobile app or web version. The system identifies and flags invalid and duplicate tickets, allowing only authorized guests to enter. If the QR Code doesn't scan, you can validate tickets by entering ticket code in the app/web version.
Is it possible to re-authorize guests if they have to temporarily exit?
Yes. Ticket Generator also allows re-entry of validated guests. If a validated guest exits the event premises, the event coordinator can scan the ticket with the Ticket Validator app or web version. At first, it will identify the ticket as Duplicate as it has already been validated. But the event coordinator will have an option to Mark Valid for Re-entry. When the guest enters again, the event coordinator can scan the ticket and it will again show Valid.
Can the tickets be validated using any QR Code scanning app?
No. Tickets generated using Ticket Generator can only be validated using Ticket Validator's web version or app, available for free on both Google Play (Android devices) and App Store (iPhones). This is to ensure that only authorized event coordinators can validate tickets as they will be required to set up their accounts or log in before starting ticket validation.
What happens if a valid ticket is duplicated?
If a visitor has duplicated a valid ticket, the visitor who enters first will be permitted. The other visitor will be flagged with a duplicate ticket. This will ensure that the number of guests who enter are equal to the number of valid tickets issued.
Yes, it's possible to view and export the following event analytics—total attendance, attendance by time, and tickets validated by coordinator. You can also view total number of used, new, expired, invalid, duplicate, and re-entry tickets.
Can I add members of the event team to validate tickets?
By default, administrator of the Ticket Generator account can validate tickets via the Ticket Validator mobile app. However, the administrator can add multiple coordinators. These coordinators can set login credentials and access Ticket Validator to validate tickets. Note: Coordinators can only validate tickets for the events they are invited to.
Can I test the tickets?
Ticket Generator gives you the option to test sample tickets so that invalid tickets are not used. In the Ticket Generator tool, go to Ticket Validator on the sidebar navigation panel. You will see four sample tickets. After downloading the Ticket Validator mobile app, you can scan any of these tickets (or enter ticket id). You can test the response for a valid, invalid, duplicate, and worn-out ticket. Also, after signing in you can create and test the first 10 tickets for free.
Where can I view the event registrations submitted by the guests?
